Stevenage residents asked to 'keep an eye out' after six burglaries in just two days

Police are investigating after six burglaries took place in Stevenage within just two days.

The crimes were reported in the town on Thursday (November 21) and Friday (November 22).

On Friday, at around 6.30pm a property on Eastbourne Avenue was targeted and a blue BMW was stolen along with the car keys.

Money, jewellery and a safe were also taken in the incident.

Also on Friday a burglary was reported where offenders gained access to a property on Julians Road between 9am and 8pm.

A pocket watch was stolen in this incident.

The remaining four burglaries all took place on Thursday. In one of them it was reported that between 8am and 7pm offenders gained entry to a property on Cardiff Close taking money, trainers, a jacket and hair clippers.

On the same day, just after 7pm, a property on Hayfield was broken into and jewellery was taken.
