Police step up patrols after eight burglaries in East Herts in one night including at least four in Bishop’s Stortford.
Police have stepped up patrols following a string of 17 burglaries in Bishop’s Stortford and other parts of East Herts linked to a gang of four men.
A total of 11 break-ins were reported in the town – including six on Thorley Park – over a five-day period. There were also two in Much Hadham, two in Widford and one each in Ware and Westmill, near Buntingford.
