Chelmsford homeowners attacked in their own home during burglary as police cordon off street
Essex Police have cordoned off an Essex street after homeowners were attacked in their own property during a burglary. EssexLive understands that Pentland Avenue in Chelmsford, Essex, was cordoned off for much of this morning (September 23).
The force has since confirmed that they attended a home on the residential road at around 12.50pm yesterday (September 22) following reports of a group breaking into a house. The residents of the property were attacked before managing to escape.
