Bishop’s Stortford burglary sparks police investigation

Officers were called to the residential address in Old Mead Lane, Henham, near Bishop’s Stortford following a burglary which had taken place between 6:30pm and 10:40pm on November 3.

The suspects forced open an upstairs window before stealing a number of items including jewellery and South African Krugerrand coins. The value of the stolen property is about £30,000.

The suspects left behind a scaffolding pole and a pickaxe.
